What the ads say
The Tomorrow Learning Card: training support for everyone.
How it actually works
Most employees, unemployed, and self-employed people get the card and take state-funded training up to ₩3M over 5 years (up to ₩5M for low-income or priority fields). It covers a large share of the cost (usually 45–85%; 100% for national-strategic fields). It's real help for mid-life re-employment and reskilling, but check the training type, your co-pay rate, and attendance rules.
⚠ Traps
- •A co-pay (about 15–55%) applies by training type and income (some courses are fully funded)
- •Falling short on attendance or dropping out can limit support or trigger clawback
- •High earners, civil servants, and some others are excluded
✓ Good for
- · Mid-life people preparing to re-enter work or reskill
- · The unemployed, self-employed, and employed (some high earners excluded)
✗ Not for
- · Those who can't see the training through
- · Excluded groups (some high earners, civil servants, etc.)
