Earned Income & Child Tax Credit (EITC & CTC)

Must-grab💰 Up to ₩3.3M+ per year

Cash payment of up to ₩3.3M for low-income working households, plus a credit per child.

💡 Up to ₩3.3M cash for low-income working households — miss the regular May filing and 10% is shaved off.

What the ads say

Credits paid to low-income households with employment or business income.

How it actually works

The Earned Income Tax Credit is a cash refund capped at ₩1.65M (single), ₩2.85M (single-earner), or ₩3.3M (dual-earner). The Child Tax Credit is paid separately per dependent child. You qualify if you meet the income and asset requirements, but missing the regular filing window (May) means filing late with roughly a 10% reduction.

Traps

Good for

  • · Low-income households with employment or business income
  • · Low-income households with dependent children (extra Child Tax Credit)

Not for

  • · Households exceeding the income/asset requirements
